Your Privacy Choices

This page applies to California residents. If you are not in California, your rights under GDPR, UK DPA, LGPD, PIPEDA, or other laws are described in the main Privacy Policy and are exercisable through the same controls below.

SparkShift LLC does not sell your personal information for money and does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in CCPA §1798.140. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months and we have no plans to.

No action is required to opt out. If we ever change this practice, we will update this page and offer an explicit opt-out before any sale or share takes place.

Astrology requires a birthplace to compute your chart. Under CPRA §1798.121, precise geolocation is classified as Sensitive Personal Information (SPI). SparkShift LLC uses the birthplace coordinates only to:

• Calculate your natal chart and daily forecast (app functionality)
• Determine your local timezone for notifications (app functionality)

We do not use birth coordinates to infer characteristics, target advertising, share with data brokers, or profile you commercially. Under CCPA/CPRA you have the right to limit our use of SPI to only the purposes listed above — which is already our practice.

If you want us to delete your birthplace coordinates entirely (which will stop forecasts from working), use the in-app Settings → Your data → Delete my account control or email us.

You can exercise any of the following rights directly in-app or by email:

• Right to know — what data we hold about you. Use Settings → Your data → Download my data for an instant JSON export (GDPR Article 20 / CCPA right-to-access).
• Right to delete — remove your profile and all derivative data. Use Settings → Your data → Delete my account.
• Right to correct — update your birth details directly in-app. The forecast recomputes immediately.
• Right to non-discrimination — exercising any of the above will never change the price of premium or the features available to you.

Written requests can also go to privacy@astraledge.app. We respond within 45 days, extendable by 45 additional days with notice as allowed by CCPA §1798.130(a)(2).

A California resident may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf. We require proof of the agent's authority and reasonable verification of the consumer's identity — standard practice under CCPA §1798.130(a)(7).
